In 2011,january of this year,my rates increased to $54.25 per month. No problem...I paid it. In March,I moved out. I bought a house in another town (Lincoln,Mo.). Well,I kept getting sewer bills even though I notified the company that I had moved. I went ahead and paid for March & April,and notified Benton County Sewer that the April payment was my last payment and reminded them in a couple of letters that I no longer resided at the house in Warsaw. Well,here is what happened after that... in May,June,July,August,and this month of September,they not only charged me $54.25 per month,they also added a $25 late fee every single month,PLUS,they charged me $250 for a lien filing fee!!! The total charges that I owe them comes to a total of $700.50 and still counting! I tried calling,but I am hard of hearing and wear 2 aids,so I have a friend(Jen) call for me. I previously had a battle with cancer and I am not able to pay these ridiculous EXTRA fees. The house has been vacant since march 21,2011. I dont even live in the same town!*” ...Show less »
