Claimant says: "I was instucted by Fairless Motors where I purchased my 2003 Trail Blazer to take my vehichle to American Repair Automotive to have my reat tailgate struts replaced. Upon picking my car up, the remote would not unlock my doors. The owner Steve suggested it was the battery to the remote. I took the remote to the GMC dealer to get a battery which they replaced, however the remote still did not work. GMC stated the remote was not working because the tailgate module would not communicate with the rest of the system which is what prevented the remote from working. I took the vehicle back to American Repair in which they reluctantly replaced the tailgate module, however that did not resolve the problem and 2 days after that something was causing a shortage in the vehichle which drained my battery. I called my warrenty company who suggested Gibratel Transmission to look into what was wrong. I was instucted at Gibraltel that they found 3 severed wires in the tailgate which was causing the shortage and that the tailgate module still was not fuctioning. My car was working prior to American Auto doing their repair, I believe whatever they did caused the problem and they refuse to pay.*” ...Show less »
