Aisha Bamahriz
Academically, I have always been a very determined and studious individual, hence why I knew that a degree in Law / Diplomacy & IR would be the definite next step. I have a broad interest in many subject areas yet feel drawn towards a law & political science orientated field.
With regards to Law, the reasoning behind my choice is the complex and intriguing nature of the subject. I particularly enjoy the way Law so appropriately blends in with everyday issues and how it is always used as the tool to solve and protect.
I consider myself to be well suited to a career in the legal field specifically in arbitration, this is due to its effective mechanism and its multifaceted dynamic that facilitates the fast paced corporate/commercial system.
Working in the law field means having the opportunity to give back to the society through good governance and justice. This coincides well with my principles, as I take pleasure in undergoing work which raises social issues in today’s society and requires the skill to be analytical.
Views on the practice of law
Law as a field is ever changing and developing in ways that caters to the advancements of the society. This makes it a unique field, whereby one must be competent enough to join such field and be ready to learn and adopt new developments every time.
Reason to be here
This internship program would serve as an asset to the advancements of my professional path. Working through this unprecedented time would allow me to explore new horizons and keep up with the shift in which the work force is currently going through. Having a chance to be part of this program would enable me to move at par with the changing time and would allow me to understand the shift in which the legal field is moving towards, therefore help me gain firsthand experience as well as knowledge.
I am a well rounded individual that is always up for a new challenge and i believe this internship program would push me to yield outstanding results.
