I made a $45 payment on 1/30/15 via e-banking. In March I received another $45 bill for the same date of service for $45. Not remembering, I paid it again on 3/5/2016. Both payments cleared. In April 2015, I received another $45 bill for the same services and called Quest. I verbally gave proof of payment over the phone and faxed the information to Quest, attaching the Check # and the Cleared date of both payments.
Over the year, I had received many more bills for $45 and each time I re-faxed and called in the dispute. I received another invoice for $45 today, 1/17/2017. My position is that Quest owes me back $45. If I pay this again, I would have paid $135.00 for a $45.00 invoice. HELP. I do not want to be sent to collections or have my excellent credit ruined.
