Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Bad business practices; poor customer service and overcharging for fees that are not correct! Have years of records contacting them with multiple supervisors names with promises to return my call after issues were fixed with none of them followed through with. I had my credit affected for 3 years because of their error in applying payment to my account. Still have thousands dollars in charges and fees for unknown reasons? Have charge for property assessment on the same date listed like 20 times? No one has an explanation for any of this! Also Payments keep going to a suspense account when they are full payments? Takes 3-4 calls taking 1-2 hrs to get fixed and payment posted to my account . Happened 6 months in row. Recently, they send letter saying they did audit and I owe them additional $3500 that will be added at end of my loan?? My escrow account is constantly changing . First I overpayed they send me a check and amount changes . Next it's I need more money for escrow raising my monthly payment 2-3 times in past 2 years. Mind you my homeowners insurance and taxes have not changed at all in those two years ? This company is shady and has horrible customer service! They take money from people unfairly! I have records of over 12 hours of talking with these people from my phone company still with no resolve! Also, stack of letters I've sent certified to them regarding these issues."

    Ocwen seems to have a lot of issues. Google them and you'll see lots of complaints. some from regulators it looks like. I'd suggest they fix their processes and CS and address these issues. Re this particular case, claimant's demands seem reasonable and fair. Ocwen should pay up and do the right thing asap.
