Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Complaint of the AT&T services
I was with Verizon Wireless and switched over to AT&T on the 1st of July, 2016. They mailed me my new phones from AT&T and once I got the phones switched over I made sure they all worked and then I mailed out my old phones which was a total of 4 phones to the address label that was in the box. Once I got my Verizon final bill I took my bill up to an AT&T store and one of the employees did my switcher offer there this was done on July 30th, 2016. I waited to call for about 6 weeks due to because they say it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get your rebate. So I called and they said yes that I should be getting my rebate around Oct 8th, 2017. So I wanted until Oct 15th and called them back because I haven't gotten my rebate. Called AT&T they switched me back to Young America and they said that they have nothing on file for me to a rebate at all. So called AT&T back and then they start to tell me that they haven't received my old phones so therefore they could not summit anything to Young America. I told them that I mailed my old phones back to the label that was in the box and they said well they went to the wrong ware house then because that label was for the new phones that I got unless something went wrong with them. No one told me this! So I then start a case for them to start looking for my old phones. I gave them the invoice numbers for every old phone that I had with Verizon. I waited for about a month and called back to check the status of finding the old phones. They got to tell me that no they don't see a case for my old phones. So I had to start with another case to someone to start looking for my old phones again. I would call back several times and get nothing but the run around. They have been telling me that I need to talk with Young America and then Young America will tell me that I need to talk with AT&T because they are the ones that have to give them an invoice number for the phones before they send out any rebates. So I have also tried to speak with Managers there and they say that they will have a manager to call me and they never do. I am just tired of getting the run around with AT&T. All I want is my rebates from them that they said that I would get so I can pay off my Verizon Wireless bill (which I am now in collections for because of them not doing what they said they would do). I have asked for my old phones back or either give me my rebates that I was suppose to get. I am tired of getting nothing but they run around with these people. I want something to be done about this matter.
