Respondent's Counteroffer Hide
The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:
  • "Claim for refund should be against the Seller of the vehicle service contract. Customer purchased a vehicle service contract from Driver's Protection (844-248-6947). Nuevo and Jeremy work for the Seller of the vehicle service contract, not Budco Financial. Budco Financial is a third-party payment plan company that funded the Seller the retail price of the contract on Mr. Galindez's behalf, and subsequently collects scheduled payments from the customer. The customer paid us 5 of 12 scheduled installments. Any customer refunds for cancelled contracts would come from the seller."

This claim will remain posted until resolved.
