  • I purchased a cell phone 4/28/25. I discovered the phone did not have the Ram I asked for, so i had to return it for a new phone. I cancelled my service 2/9/26. The phone remained locked for 1 month and a day. i went to my new provider and they said the phone was locked. While T Mobile kept saying it was unlocked. The new provider took screenshots from the phone to provide to T Mobile, saying it was locked by the provider. Finally I submitted the information to head members of T Mobile; Caldwell Samantha, Mark Henry, and CEO Carter Alex. Something told me to mention the new phone, Caldwell asked me the name of my new provider and explained she would do a 3 way. I was added to the conversation after she had talked with my new provider. The new provider asked me a couple questions and the phone was activated. It was very obvious T Mobile failed to enter the new IMEI number of the new phone in their system. This caused the long delay of me getting my new service. They offered to pay 1 month of interrupted service but felt $ 200.00 was more reasonable for the unnecessary inconvenience and carelessness on their behalf.
