Herbert J. says: I was stupid enough to use Ava's Flowers despite all the negative ratings because the arrangement was so appealing and I couldn't really believe that a company could be that bad. Well it's not just whiners who are writing reviews after all. I ordered flowers for a funeral AND THEY WERE NEVER DELIVERED. I think they are just taking advantage of Covid because they know not many people are going to funerals and won't be checking on their flowers. Guess what, the family took pictures of every single arrangement and every card and we know they weren't delivered. Ava's Flowers refuses to respond to me AT ALL. Mistakes happen so I have tried everything I can to get them to respond to me, they did not, so now I am going to call my credit card company. Worst service and worst customer service in the country.

Olga R. says: Don’t order through AVAS FLOWERS! They don’t stand behind their products and service. I recently ordered a large Lavender standing basket arrangement, to be sent a funeral home. What they sent was not what I ordered. I was mortified to learn that they sent a pink arrangement to an adult male who served our country. I can’t believe just how disrespectful that appears. I sent an email and spoke with their customer service rep. i don’t have any future desire to trust to order flowers through Avas again much less take advantage of their meanless resolution for store credit. The customer service rep, Jose was robotic in his communication and delivered a non compassionate response other than referring to their recipe. This company is a joke! Buyer Beware!

Patricia N. says: Ordered large planter for funeral. It was never delivered. Avas Flowers insisted it was delivered. Funeral home confirmed it never arrived. Requested a refund. Was denied. Got the Better Business Involved and got an email from Avas that they will refund my money. Days later no refund. Contacted Avas Flowers they sent me a text message to call them. Called them and the confirmed that the refund was processed and gave me a conformation number. Told me if I don't get the refund by August 22 I should contact the credit card company. Will see what happens.

Jennifer M. says: This place is a joke. I ordered a medium planter for a family who had a death in the family. I ordered on Saturday, was told it would be delivered on Saturday. It wasn't. Told it would be sunday, and to call back Sunday for compensation. Not surprised, the were not delivered Sunday. I called again. I was told how sorry they were blah blah blah. It got to the point that I said, "just cancel my refund and put the funds back on my card." He placed me on hold, came back on the line and apologized that we got off on the wrong foot. Said, what if we upgrade to a large, add a big beautiful bouquet of flowers and a $ 20 store credit? I said if you can do that, that would be fine, thank you. HA! It was a small that was delivered, no flowers but a $20 store credit. Was told they listed to the call an nothing like that was said, but what the did say was upgrade was up to the florist. So all the times I repeated, upgrade to large, but beautiful bouquet of flowers and $20 credit, and told "yes", it was all a lie to take my money. I called the florist and they said a size was not specified so they just sent out a garden dish. Poor, poor, customer servive, Avas Flowers are nothing but scammers and thieves, and liars. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!!!!

Suzanne M. says: Flowers were never delivered. When I called to ask where they were, they put me on hold for 15 mins then hung up. I called back again and then was told they would look into it and call me back. 48 hours went by before I got a call and that was after I called a few more times and emailed them. No reason ever given for what happened. They refused to let me speak with a manager or supervisor. They still wanted to charge me to deliver flowers a week late. I had to argue with them to demand a refund. I currently have filed a claim denying charges with my bank. What a nightmare- I only ordered thru them thinking it was a local florist near my mom in Mississippi as it came up in a top pick when I did a search and the page indicated it was a local florist which it was NOT. This company is a total scam. They should lose their business license.
