Elizabeth Esrey is a professional mediator with
more than 20 years of experience in civil, community, corporate, and family
mediation.  She has over 200 hours of conflict
resolution training.  As a certified court
approved mediator and mediator trainer, Elizabeth has taught mediation to law
and business school students, attorneys, judges, business executives, politicians,
social workers and educators.  Elizabeth
is an approved civil, parent/child, domestic and Special Education mediator in
Kansas and Missouri.

 In Chicago, Mrs. Esrey helped build the
Chicago Bar Association’s Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR).  At CCR, Elizabeth served as volunteer
coordinator/trainer. She trained lawyers, judges, business executives and
community organizers in mediation.  She
consulted with the Utah State Bar Association in developing their mediation
program.  Elizabeth helped implement peer
mediation programs for Chicago Public Schools. 
She taught alternative dispute resolution (ADR) classes to HR executives
at IBM, Quaker Oats and Allstate.  She presented
to local law school students and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business MBA
students in ADR

 Elizabeth was selected to serve with a cadre
of mediators to work with South African leaders and the Truth and
Reconciliation Commission using mediation to process grievances suffered under
apartheid.  In Marin County, California, Mrs.
Esrey worked with families and schools mediating educational issues.  She served as a mediator for Kansas City,
Missouri’s Human Relations’ Department and Johnson County’s small claims court
mediation program.
