Hanbal Kahlon
Its hard to describe yourself when you feel like you're more than just one person or one being. There are many ways I would describe myself, but the one common factor between all of them is that I see myself being at the top with whatever I do. If I start something, I want to be one of the best, if not the best, at it. I want to be recognized and acknowledged for whatever work I do. This is exactly the ambition and determination I have with the legal field. I do not know what lies in my path, I do not know the challenges that will come ahead and I do not know what is the final road I will embark on. All I know is that I will overcome all of these obstacles and reach my goal. The only thing that can stop me, is me.
Other than my work, I am a crazy fan of basketball and the San Antonio Spurs. I lived in San Antonio from 1997 to 2000. Since then I have been a supporter of this team and have followed them more passionately since 2012. I write a blog on basketball for new website called 'Maidaan' and I soon hope to start a side business where I can organize basketball tournaments in my city.
Views on the practice of law
I have always been told that the practice of law is difficult and that its not meant for everyone. I have been described the hardships of work and the challenges in the early years of practice. I believe there is just one question when it comes to success: do you want it? If yes, then everything else is irrelevant and all that matters is your determination to reach your goal. All these hardships, challenges and problems, they're all excuses. If you want it, then go get it. Its as simple as that.
Reason to be here
I believe this internship presents a unique opportunity for me and I wish to take advantage of that. I am a diligent worker and I require no motivation or constant reminders from my superiors in order to do my work. I give my 100% to the work assigned to me and I do more than required of me in order to put the best possible work forward. I believe I can be a great asset to peopleclaim and hopefully they will not be disappointed.
