Claimant says:
"Contracted with Wild Iris Enterprises/Island Foam of Kodiak Alaska in March 2014 to apply 3 inches of foam to the mud sill and stem wall of my crawl space to satisfy an energy audit issue. In the contract Wild Iris Enterprises was to take down the fiberglass insulation apply the 3 inches of foam and re install the insulation. I paid up front $2500.00 for aforementioned services. It took awhile for the first application due to moisture in the crawl space which was understandable. After the first application I evaluated the foam application. The agreed upon 3 inches was not present in all the voids. I measured and marked the shortfall of foam. After many excuses and promises to finish the application, Wild Iris came back on 5/8/2014 for the second application. That afternoon I evaluated the second application and found that not all the areas I had identified were re foamed. Also non of the insulation was re installed. So the contracted work has not been finished. No follow up phones have been received. I have started to re install the insulation myself because I have a deadline to finish and have my house re evaluated.
I have heard from other people that this is typical behavior and work ethic for Wild Iris Enterprises/Island Foam. I just want people to know not to make the same mistake I made contracting Wild Iris Enterprises/Island Foam for any work. I do not want them back on my property even though they have not completed the paid for work. I am finished with them their lies and excuses."
