On September 5th, 2015 we had the wedding of my son Ben Motamedi and Alioska at the Westfield Marriot in Chantilly, VA. The event was scheduled to have 240 guests attending and that is what we had informed the hotel. As it turned out, we had 15 people not show up to the event, making the total number of guests 225. The Westfield Marriot charged us an extra $803.75 on September 10th, 2015 as they claimed we had 7 extra guests, giving us a total guest count of 247.This was false as we verified based on the table count that there were 225 guests. The hotel has responded to our complaint by giving us 50,000 Marriot points and 1 free night’s stay at the Westfield Marriott hotel. I do not want these “bonus” points, as we should never have been charged this extra amount. This is the amount I have been the over charged.

Please help us in looking into this matter and assist us in fighting these charges.

Regards.
