Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have been an AHA Instructor For UAB-EMS TC for 15 years,I have never had any problems ,until Jan 2014 when a new TC coordinator took over. The previous TC cordinator did a great Job of keeping me up to date on the new teaching guide lines by emails and visits. We have had nothing but complaints from the new TCC not a single visit. They deliberately witheld services to
put us out of compliance .The held our cards from students, did not make us aware of new materials, test and guidelines and provided no guidance at all.on 6/26/2015 I recieved a request for information about my training, supposedly an ongoing investigation I knew nothing about,I was given until 6/29/2015 12:00 noon to respond.I still had classes on going so I got their material together he asked for.On 7/1/11:30 I got an e-mail that my Instructor staus had been deactivated. The TCC gave me a list of reasons in a email that his office is most
if not all, responsible for they were the reason our cards were delayed, they were the reason for old test being given because of their failure to perform their duties. This Guy never visited us one time or our office or called me in to meet me and inform me of new materials his secretary did not know.He can deactivate me if he like but it seems as if 15 years as an Instructor at least would deem a warning not termination without a visit or even a conversation.I was busy responding to their allegations and had not submitted my last invoices for june 2015.I wa deactivated on July 1,2015 at 11:30 am without warning.I submitted my classes from June on July 6,2015 as they were taught before my Instructor status was changed .The TCC denied my students their cards and they have complied with all criteria for their cards to be issued.I teach for other centers as well and never had any problems. This was my main source of income ."
