  • I have my paper works on 8-11-15 my 1979 chevy my car was running good you put on a carburetor now the car is not running motor is no good that's no good what happen to my car?

  • Vehicle was brought for a smog inspection. the vehicle failed the inspection for the following reasons, modified intake manifold with egr systen blocked off and modified carburetor. all this had been explained to the customer.
    Mr. Brooks returned a few days later requesting that we replace his carburetor so the vehicle would pass smog inspection.
    I personally stated to Mr. Brooks(by phone) that the carburetor he supplied would not be acceptable for his vehicle.
    Mr. brooks then stated that he would pick the vehicle up and take care of it on his own.
    the vehicle was left here at our location for a couple of weeks after that. I made several attempts to contact Mr. Brooks to retrieve his vehicle, once i got ahold of him he stated he could only pick his vehicle up on a Sunday.
    i then made the arrangement to meet him at the location to release his key to the vehicle.
    Mr. Brooks arrived with a tow truck at that time the vehicle was loaded on the truck under its own power.
    I feel for this matter to be brought up several months after the fact is erroneous and should be dismissed on all counts.
    furthermore storage was not charged to Mr. Brooks
