Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"A friend ordered a verismo for me as an Xmas gift. The lever on the Verisimo would not stay down, I wasted a whole box of pods on this machine. If you put the pod in and close it to make the coffee the lever would shoot up, and to make the drink you had to sit there and forcefully hold the lever down. This machine was a complete waste of money, and the only thing worse than the machine was the customer service. I spoke to 8 people... 8! And every time I spoke to someone else instead of apologizing, they tried to sell me something else. To top it all off sending this thing back was a NIGHTMARE that took over 2 weeks!! It took a whole week to just get a response, then another 72 hours to receive the return label... As expected we never received the email. The rep I spoke to confirmed the email address, and still never received anything. Went into the store and a barista said it was on sale and I should take advantage of it now, but the sale is only for that weekend... Well I went to the mall later in the day, and ironically they were $150 at Macy's(regular price). Then when I purchased the second machine the guy messed up and had to void the original sale. So I now have a machine that is defective, I have two pending transactions for $176.00 until the money is credited back to me from the guys mistake, and a brand new machine that I plan to return immediately. So in total I have almost $600 tied up in this machine, and have not gotten so much as an apology. I always thought of Starbucks as a respectable, diverse, and professional company, but this is crazy. I feel I was lied to and I feel cheated. I will never do business with Starbucks again. NEVER USE STARBUCKS.COM, AND STAY AWAY FROM THE VERISIMO. The Nespresso machine is a similar option to the Verisimo, except 100 times better, the Nespresso system is a little more pricey but WELL WORTH it."

  • We are awaiting for the coffee machines to be shipped back to us. After we will issue a check for the amount which Mr. Sanchez paid for them.

    301938515007572.

  • It looks like customer service has responded back to you. Have you received the shipping labels that they claim they have sent? If so, make sure you have the tracking numbers available to you for when you ship the machine back to them for a return. Often, returns can take some time to be credited back to your account, but you should keep in contact with the customer service center to check on the status of your return.
