Statement of Claim

Claimant says:
"I sent Preston Lord a check for $299 to be involved in a program they promoted and sent to me in the mail .. And they then sent me 290 letters, envelopes and address labels for prospective buyers for which I was told I would be paid $20 for each one who returned the mailing to them. And I sent their letters with the 290 labels they gave me plus sent letters to ten other prospects which cost me $135 in postage that they said they would repay at some point.

So now I am out $424 in marketing their products and not received a DIME from them!
And I KNOW a person who paid them $104 and submitted one of the registration forms I gave to them. And they cashed that $104 check on December 4th … but DID NOT send me the $10 they PROMISED to send on the Tuesday following receipt of payments. And even if only 10% of the other mailing I did had come back to them ... it would have still involved a total of 30 rsponses out of the 300 -- and SHOULD have gotten me at least $600 if there was only a ten percent response. And I am SURE because of the one I KNOW about that Preston Lord is NOT honoring their commitment and essentaily STOLE the inital $299 from me ... plus had me "waste" another $140 on postage for which they had promised to reimburse me but have not."

  • I see there are a lot of complaints about this company. So I decided not to send them any money. I am sure you have a legitimate complaint. call the attorney general office in new jersey.

  • From researching this, it seems that some people are of the belief that this is a scam company, while others are claiming it is a legit business opportunity. The Better Business Bureau does have some information that seems to indicate that this company and other companies it is associated with may have been under investigation by government agencies at one time. Because there is possibly an ongoing investigation into this company, you should contact both your Attorney General and the Attorney General for the state that this business is located in to indicate that you sent money to the company and have not received anything. Perhaps they can help you get your money back due to the nature of what this business seems to be.
