Claimant's advice to others
"This whole process has been terrible. When I call the service center the bike is in, they say Piaggio hasn't told them what to do yet. As a mechanic, I understand you need approval for warranty issues from the manufacturer, so I'm hesitant to place blame on the shop. Were I to take 2 months to troubleshoot a product at my job, warranty or otherwise, I'd be fired. Then, when trying to contact Piaggio through email, I've got no reply in approximately 4 weeks. Trying to phone them produces similar results. I called about 2 weeks ago, got a voicemail, left a message with every detail asked of me, and still have not received any reply. Stick to the bigger manufacturers if you want a motorcycle!"
