Claimant says:
"I had a fire at my house, and the cable and satellite dish were destroyed except one cable wire. I have cancelled the satellite: Direct TV, and requested Mediacom to come out and fix the burnt wires. That was a month ago, and three servicemen later. The last one was subcontracted, and said that an electrician needed to do the work, because it was a liability to him. So today, a Mediacom guy in a truck with their logo shows up. He looked at the damage and what needed to be done. He assured me that it was fixable, and his office would call me to set up a day. I would be charged for the underground cable and rewiring.
I want to know if Mediacom is a trustworthy company who will follow through. My attorney told me to check them out with you, because he doesn't trust them after the run around I've been getting."
