Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"They removed wallpaper and instead of putting on a skim coat on the walls I have what looked like gouges in my entire wall. I had to hire someone else to complete the job. They damaged my hall floor and the entire time they were at my house they smoked in my newly painted garage. I am looking for $750 that I had to pay someone else to skim the walls and repaint. Jeff Thompson called my an idiot. He is the idiot and not a professional. He called me the first day and stated that I was not to talk to his employee. I should have thrown them out first day."

  • Mrs Sherman - you did not allow me an opportunity to come back and address the complaints about your walls. You emailed us Thanksgiving week and before the weekend was over you emailed again, attacking my professionalism, my skill and my crew. Your assertions that we damaged your floors are ludicrous and you and I talked about that before you even paid me for your job. You are asserting, here, that we didn't put a skim coat on your walls. You know that we did. We used three gallons of drywall compound because your "professional" wallpaper hanger didn't use sizing. The walls were then primed, sanded skimmed and painted with three coats of finish paint.
    You were at home and inspected our job every day stating that you were pleased with the job and that my crew was very nice and professional.
    Quite frankly, your public comments are libelous. If you were able to focus on the issue you wanted corrected and not resort to attacking my company, this could have been resolved easily, but you didn't even give me a chance.
    I have been in business for over 35 years with thousands of happy customers. I value a good working relationship with my customers and am sorry you have resorted to this type of attack.

    "Mrs. Sherman did not allow me the opportunity to address her concerns before she started with attacks on my professionalism,etc. It is customary to let a contractor know of your concerns in a calm manner and then give them time to come back to your home and work on an agreeable solution. "

  • I understand Mrs. Sherman's  complaint Thompson painting did not complete my job as promised.

    I tw thompson about this he said he would fix promised me within two weeks after 2 weeks I called him


    he did not return my calls  I have called many times still no call   thompson does not do as promised
