Claimant says:
"I purchased a $100.00 money order from an authorized Western Union money order agent on 04/28/16 located at Giant 6074 Gas Station 3815 Northern Blvd NW (505) 994-0840. I purchased it for the purpose of my son attending a summer school program in Albuquerque, NM. I filled it out to Albuquerque Public Schools, but then found out there was a school which was closer to my home address. I brought the money order to my bank US Bank and they told me they could not deposit in my account because it had already been made out to another party, they instructed me to bring it back to where I purchased it and write on it "Not For Intended USE" and they should give me my $100.00 back. I went to the place I purchased it and they told me they do not refund money orders that it was a store policy. I then called Western Union Customer service and was told I would have to send it to Western Union Financial Services along with a $30.00 processing fee, since I did not have the attached receipt from the money order and it would take 30 to 60 days to process my refund. I paid $1.50 to purchase the money order and will have to purchase another money order for $1.50 to send Western Union for $30.00, buy a stamp for .42 . So, basically are telling me in order to refund my $100.00 it is going to cost me a loss of $33.42 for something that I never even used. I have never in all my life ever encountered this problem and I am 57 years of age. GIANT 6074 Gas Station located at 3815 Northern Blvd. NW. Rio Rancho, NM. (505) 994-0840 and ask them to refund my money, that would be the easiest, best and fastest way for me to get my $100.00 refund back in a timely manner that will not end up costing me $33.42."
