Claimant says:
"ECM:  I have a yearly contract with the to cover my appliances in my condo in Wynmoor (Coconut Creek, Florida).  I pay them $345.00 a year for service.  This year I did not use them even once until I had problem in May with my a/c.   They said my 8 year old unit had to be replaced because it was leaking coolant from the coils.  I told them I didn't have $3,500 to replace the unit.  So they said I could replace JUST THE COILS FOR $1,800. I have been trying to save the money but in the meantime  I called another a/c company for another opinion.  He said that was not the problem.  The pan was installed improperly and should be reinstalled.  I called ECM and they will not reinstall the pan (even though that is covered under my contract) until I do the coil replacement.  I threatened not renewing my contract, even though I have been a customer for 11 years.  They replied "Your choice!".  The second mechanic was so upset he said I should contact you because this was definitely WRONG!"
