"Revised April 13:

This apartment issued a bad credit rating on my rental credit. In late
2007 (Hurricane Humberto), I moved into Country Wood apartment and in
2008 this apartment community was hit by a Hurricane IKE and sewage
flooded my apartment several times. I contacted FEMA to look at the
issue as I had lost much of belongings and furniture was damaged. The
FEMA investigator who investigated the apartment, did not assist by
providing assistance to me for my losses but instead told me she would
arrange for an apartment transfer with the property management. The
property management never transferred me out of the apartment and never
cleaned the apartment of sewage which flooded the bedrooms and bathrooms
several times. Instead every time the bathroom began flooding, I would
have to Clorox and mop the floors myself.

I paid rent on time to this apartment community on time and until I
provided 30 day notice to leave the property. There was no debt owed to
these apartments and they never repaired the sewage damage or
transferred me per the FEMA request. It is believed that the apartment
management and the electric company both failed to terminate services
and rental leasing properly so they could collect off me as they had
obviously collected the FEMA assistance that should have been assistance
to me for an apartment transfer that never happened. I do have a copy of
FEMA response and am prepared to have the apartment manager prosecuted
for FEMA and collections fraud."
