Claimant says:
"I live in a condo community . In Holtsville Long Island . Alexander Wolf is my management Company . I had a very large tree in front of my home . The roots were tremendous . The roots were above ground . My grand children were falling over them each and every visit .
That was not the major issue . The roots were growing under my driveway , walkway and growing up to my foundation . I called and called complaining . Stating that soon the damage would lead to the whole community , Having to pay for the damages . Finally I made an agreement to pay half the cost of the tree removal . The cost was quote was 200.00 . the quote included the removal of the roots in the lawn and reconstruction of the grass . The landscaper removed the tree . The cable lines were cut in the process. The landscapers stopped the job never completing what I agreed to . Now every month the management company is charging me a late fee of the cost of removal of the tree and late fee for my common charges (Which I always pay on time . I informed them the job was never completed . I refuse to pay for something not done to my satisfaction . I demand compensation for the mess in front of my home and the harassment they invoked.   • Whike everyone in the development had their tree limbs cut for nothing. You had the nerve to charge me 217.00 The tree in the front of my home was not only dangerous. But going under my sidewalk, my driveway and going under my foundation. You also charged me 25.00 a month for a late fee each month the job I agreed to was to include the removal of the roots and to fix my lawn None of that was done my home in the front was destroyed and cable damaged due to your negligence .My neighbors who see the mess encourage me NOT TO PAY ANYTHING!!!

"The Board of Directors consisting of other owners, elected by other owners makes all decision regarding these types of issues. AWC makes no decisions regarding the owners issues. This complaint should not be made about AWC as we have no control over this decision of the board of directors."
