"The liner that Afford A Pool installed is not put in right. The steps have wrickles on them and the liner don't fit the pool. We have to hire some other company to finish the steps. $175. They put in the liner then poured the concert for the new coping . The concert went in to the pool, it was a mess to clean up. Im still cleaning rocks up inside the pool.  This job took 8 months and still not done. They added more and more charges to the bill, beyond the contract. They damage the brick wall with thier bobcat, that fell over the this past winter. Their response was if you buy the new block $875 we will pour the concert. The concert was never poured around the pool. They add charges to there bill of $3500 plus the remaining balance $5,000. The additioal charges are $1200 because it was harder to get the concert coping off , that was in the contract, $400 to put the concert in a truck 60 feet away than buried the concert in the woods 150 feet over a hill plus put dirt on it. The piece of concert were 6ft x10 ft. the truck drive did not know if he could get them pass the tiegate they were so big. They came and got thier tools and never came back. Because we refuse to pay more than the contract. They left a mess in the yard. Wood, bag of dryed up concert in piles in yard, plus the wall was never done. "

  • I assume that Autocorrect has changed concrete into concert throughout your complaint? Autocorrect can be a curse.

    How much concrete went into the pool on the new liner? That seems to be to be very sloppy and potentially damaging to the liner.

    Is AFFORD-A-POOL & SPA an authorized installer for the liner? If so, you will want to make a complaint to the liner manufacturer.

    If the coping was harder to grind than anticipated, and grinding the coping was part of the original contract, then that is the company's problem, not yours. They will know better next time.

    I dont' understand the issue with the block. Was this concrete block that you purchased for rebuilding the brick wall?
