I called verizon immeditely and told them the ipad had been returned (call made 1/8/12 @ 11:50am talked to Terrance) I was told that the charge was taken off and everything was taken care of. I received another bill in feburary stating it was past due. I again called and spoke to Mike on 2/6/12 @ 6:01pm we had a conference call with QWest (now Centurylink) and after quite some time and effort Mike resolved the issue and credited my account. Now I receive a letter from the NCTUE notifying me that there has been a report that adds negative information to my consumer data report. So I again call Verizon and talk to Eileen on 5/2/12 @5:00pm. She made some otes" on my account and told me to call the repoting bureau to resolve the issue. Why am i having to resolve their mistake and more importantly why is the continuing to be a problem and reflecting negatively on my credit! Why can't they get this resolved once and for all. I have been a Verizon customer for 13 yrs and this treatment is unacceptable and I feel at this time some compensation is warranted.* ...less

My payment was applied to the wrong account, so I was billed again by Verizon - this time for a larger amount. I assumed that the payment had just not been applied to my account and ignored that bill. Then suddenly, without warning, they cut off my service. I have a heart monitor attached to the Verizon phone. I luckily subscribe to Sprint for cell phone service, otherwise I would not have been able to reach Verizon. I had to fax them proof of payment (thank God for billpay!) They restored my service while they researched the problem. It turns out my payment was credited to the wrong account. I was told that they would send me a refund check, that I should use the refund check to pay the bill, that they were unable to just transfer the payment to the correct account, blah, blah. I still haven't received the refund check, yet received another bill from them for $900+. In addition I'm being charged for four setboxes, although I only have three connections. The list just goes on.......* ...less

Claimant says: I recently took a trip to Europe, and before I left, I activated the international capability of my Droid Incredible 2. I spoke to a Verizon representative and purchased an international data package. During the trip, I received a couple of notifications via e-mail that I had exceeded first $25 and then $50 in data roaming charges. So twice I called and spoke to the Verizon International people about the charges and was assured that my data package was nowhere close to being used. They did not mention any additional roaming charges. I was shocked upon receiving my bill today that I had accrued $656 in global roaming charges. I spoke with a Verizon customer service representative to ask about why I had been misled about these charges during three telephone calls with Verizon, and she informed me that she was not privy to my conversations and, thus, could do nothing. She did finally agree to knock 18 percent off of my roaming charges, which amounts to $113. I feel that I made substantial efforts to check on my international plan and charges -- calling before and twice during my trip -- and that Verizon has used deceptive practices to, first of all, charge for a data "package" but then socking it to the customer through roaming charges. Had I been properly informed that I was accruing exorbitant charges, I would have ceased to use the phone, but I was not told anything during TWO phone calls that I made to inquire about the charges. I feel this is a very deceptive business practice by Verizon, and I would like to see some kind of further resolution take place.* ...less
