To take advantage of those at their lowest possible financial moment is an awful thing to do to people. I reached out because the banks refused to help at that point. After talking with Jet's representative yesterday, I almost became convinced to enroll again because my finances are still fragile and I want to pay my debts. However, after thinking about what Chase Bank told me and coming to a fair conclusion with them, I decided to call the Bank of America's internal collections this morning. After coming to a conclusion, I told them about Jet and this "informational package," and I was informed that this did not seem right, that this information was not private, but was something that could be gotten off the internet, and it seemed like the company was preying on desperate people. Of course, things like this may not be happening if banks would be willing to work with their customers when they came to them right away and said they were having problems. I did and my bank refused to help because my bills were paid on time. It had to wait until I was in a desperate situation, where I wasn't thinking with a clear head, and a scammer got me.* ...less

However, I have consistently paid between $400 to $500 each month, in an effort to pay the loan off on time. 3/25/12. I went and made a payment of $450. 3/27/12 I received a call from one of their rep by the name Erika.Claiming that I am $700 behind on my payment proof of that my car has been placed on a repo status that I my payment has gone up to $650 since January because my record shows no proof of insurance.I explained that I never received a request notice for proof of Insurance or a notification regarding the adjustment in my monthly payment which could have allowed me to act promptly to avoid those abusive charges, she responded that they don't have to notify me because its already stated on the contract that I signed. I told her that I never had that copy and that I will appreciate it if the should send me a copy and also pleaded that she give me till the end of business the next day to forward her my proof of insurance. I called my insurance that same day and was informed that my coverage was cancelled because my auto payment didn't go through, I updated my insurance over the phone and gavethe guy the fax number to forward the info to Erika that same day. I called Erike at about 8am on 3/28. and left a message, that I wanted to confirm if she received the proof of insurance and also if it was possible that she allow me one month to come up with the $700 . She called back to tell me that she only received my insurance card and that though she called and validated it and that she can't accept anything other than the title and the full payment. Through enough they came and take away the car the same day. I called her again the followig day,she said that to get the car back I must now have to come up with $1,151.90. I pleaded that she give me time to come up with that kind of money. She told me I will receive a form on the mail in 2 business, to complete and return. I received a mail 5 days later, with a note stating how much I have to pay to get the car back, without any form to allow me request for time.4/11. I called and explain to Erikat that I never received the form but a note. She said well, she give me till 4/20. after which the car will be auctioned. I told her that I get paid on the 25th. she said if I want the car back, I will have to come up with the money on the 20th. Since I couldn't go to work without the car. I took time of from work, futunately I got a friend to loan me $1200 on 4/13.I called Erika over 10 times between 4/13 and left her over 4 messages 4/ 17. In between I spoke to Carlos and another lady, they both refered me to Erika, according to them she is the one in charge of my account, Erika finaly decided to call me back on 4/17. Just in the voice mail. I told her I had the money and wanted to know where to go and pay and get the car back She said, the payment had gone up from $1,151.90 to $1800 plus, because my next payment is due on the 24th and therefore,I must have to pay all upfront in advance to get the car back. I protested and demanded to talk to her superior, her response was that her superior is very busy that I will have to call another time and hung up on me.I have my phone record to prove my case as well as other document.* ...less

Claimant says: On June 4, 2012 I purchased from Budco Financial Services (BFS) an Extended Service Plan (ESP) for my 2010 Ford F-150 Pick-up Truck. I paid $187.00 as a down payment on a plan that the total cost was $1870.00. This plan was designed to cover my vehicle after my New Vehicle Limited Warranty expired, which was due to expire in December of 2012. This new warranty would cover my vehicle up to 75,000 or 72 months. On July 3, 2012 I made my first payment of $99.00 to BFS. On July 9, 2012 I sent in an affidavit to cancel the coverage of this vehicle because I purchased a new 2012 Ford F-150 Pick-up Truck and no longer needed this extended coverage plan. My investment into this ESP plan is a total of $286.00. After completing the Cancellation Request Form, ESP informed me it would take two to four weeks to receive my refund. On August 16, 2012 I received a refund check of $109.98, check number 00127101. I am not satisfied with the amount of this refund. The services I paid for had not even taken effect. I understand that there was a cancellation fee of $75.00 that would cover administration costs and I have no problem paying that fee and feel that I have additional monies of $101.02 due me. To be honest with you, there was no discussion or anything printed in writing that mentioned any fees to cancel this policy at anytime. I am asking for the additional $101.02 I feel they owe me.Note: There was no contract signed. This was all done over the phone with Budco Financial Services. We agreed to this these services in good faith at the time of the phone call and expect Budco Financial Services to return our money in good faith. We tried to resolve this over the phone but was told that the monies they held back was policy. Nowhere written in their brocure is their policy stated that they can steal our money.I verify that all the information above is true. Thank for your attention to this matter.Julie A. Claimant says: I have filed four maintenance requests for the glaring laser lights shining into our bedroom and living/dining room apartment which we just moved into on January 6, 2012. We are asking for the wattage to be reduced but it seems that can't be done. When, talking to community manager, I was told they could install drapes but I wasn't told on the first request - they put a paper cover over the light shining into our bedroom and nothing for lights shining into living/dining room - it does not adequately reduce the glaring laser beams. One maintenance person told me I could buy drapes to cover the the window (I put a black towel which covers part of the window), however the community manager said today they would install them at no cost to us, but - the person in charge of installation is terribly busy and probably won't be able to get around to it until next week. This is only one of the issues which we have had since moving into a "move in ready apartment" just a month ago.The other issue is the air conditioner in the garage had black crusty mildew/mold on it and maintenance painted over the black crust and poured bleach in the pans. I was told by the community director it wasn't mold - however, the amount of bleach that was used was toxic and gave us headaches and in addition, we were told not to set the air conditioner below 70 degrees (this is Tampa, Fl) which leaves the townhouse upstairs pretty warm most of the time where the bedrooms are located and glaring lights shine in nightly. We are African American senior citizens just moving into Florida and I feel we are being harassed by the management to move and break our lease (which would be costly) because they don't seem to be concerned about resolving our maintenance issues in a timely manner.* ...less
