I have gone to other headquarters in Phoenix! I will make one very last attempt to resolve this and if this problem does'nt get fixed to my satisfaction then I"ll have no other alternative but to switch to another carrier. I just don't understand how something so simple can't be handled. It's obviously due to either an extraordinarily inefficient and negligent bunch of poeple, or just plain stupidity. Claimant says: Poor service. Called multiple times to set up an appointment for a service technician. Service call was cancelled by charter and an automated message left on my phone. Called again to set up a service call. At 6am on the day of the service my phone was called to confirm the appointment. I did confirm it, and they never came. He said he was not there for my call and would not be stopping by.At this point I called and asked for my service to be disconnected on 11/1. Paid my October bill in full and personally went to drop off the Cable box and Internet router 30 minutes away. Waited in line for 30 more minutes and returned the equipment and received a zero balance. DoneI moved out of state on 11/2 and forwarded my mail. Yesterday 11/28/11 I received a FINAL NOTICE BEFORE DISCONNECT notice in the mail!?? My account is past due. A charter field staff will reclaim the equipment!?? My account will be listed delinquent with the credit bureau as delinquent. My account will be turned over to a collection agencyI called Charter immediately to resolve. The operator could not provide me with any information about my account. I was on hold for 10 minutes. Still not available to give me any information. Claimant says: I have no choice but to use Windstream as my DSL. I pay $95.00 a month to have a download speed of over 12 mbps and only getting 2.5. My job is closing our facility and we are going to work from home. I do not meet the speed test and am looking at losing my job for a service I pay for.
