I went in to verizon on march 13 2011 to upgrade my phone. The phone i was wanting was the iphone4 and i was looking also at the ipad2 the salesman that helped me talked me into getting the ipad instead of what i wanted which was the ipad2. the salesman told me that i could make payments on both products and i would have not issues. the saleman also told me that if i did not like the ipad i could come back and exchange it for the product i really wanted which was the ipad2. i went in the next day to exchange the ipad and the salesman that talked to me said they were out of ipad2s and that i would just have to keep the ipad. as i was walking out i heard a different saleman setting up another customers product and it was an ipad2. i have writen and called verizon several times about this and they refuess to fix this issue that they made. i was also lied to when the salesman said i could make payments on the products i got and the main office told me no i had to pay it all right away. i have done everything i can think of to get these issues fixed and they keep refuessing. i went into the store again on 21st of november and the manager there was rude and again would not take the responceablity for there mistake. all i keep being told is to sell it to a third party and then turn around an buy the ipad2. i dont have the money to do that and on top of that i would get barly anything for it. i need help i want this fixed also they keep uping my bill every month it almost 200.00 and it should not be i have the unlimited talk and texts for 89.99 i dont understand how they can charge me almost 200.00 for one line every month this also needs to be fixed. i hope you can help me and get these issues corrected and make both sides happy. im to the point that if this is not fixed i will some how come up with the 300.00 to end my contract with verizon and i will then go somewhere else.* ...less

After checking the website just now (DEC 6 '11), to my surprise, the contract end date had somehow magically been changed to DEC of 2012! I had called customer service concerning this odd new term of my contract, and the tech claimed that I had "verbally agreed" to sign up for an extended contract (which I did NOT). Apparently, my calling for tech support a year ago to get my 3G running was my "consent" to extend the contract date; that, is a LOAD of BS! I did not EVER agree to contract IN WRITING (or even VERBALLY, as they are claiming). Furthermore, why would the contract end date (DEC '11) change from last month, extended another year when I checked today (DEC 6 '11)--- something fishy is going on, I think!The tech suggested that I send a receipt to verify that I had paid for the 3G modem at Best Buy OUTRIGHT... I suggested to the tech that I wanted physical evidence that I had agreed to a new contract--- he said that he couldn't come up with any. Why should I be the one to have to prove that I had not signed any contract? I'm the customer--- and they're "dicking me over".* ...less

Claimant says: Got a letter from a debt collection agency saying I owe around $800. I pd. this in the spring of 2010. Last year also received a letter about this same debt and thought I had this taken care of. What would u recommend I do?*
