They faxed back a confirmation, and I've had many conversation' with supervisors promising to fix this unacceptable service. Not only do I still not have any service, but they have placed my account with a collection agency. It's nothing short of harassment now; my "all important" credit score could be affected . And I still don't have the service I paid for. The only response I've received from them is; we're sorry, sometimes it takes awhile for payments to reach the billing department; to which I replied(and have been since june) are you seriously telling me in this day of brilliant technology that your are not able to figure out how to accept my payment(acknowledge that)and provide service. It's going on 5 months now, what are my recourses and can you help?* ...less

Claimant says: I've had XM Radio for years. I was in a position I could not afford it. I called to cancel my subscription. By phone call, a representative of Sirius XM offered me a deal right after the merger. The deal was I would pay for the two radio's service at the price of $30.00 every six months. (2 radio's x $15.00) every six months. I've been paying that amount for the better part of two years. Recently I have been approached by the company to pay some other price. They state there is no service for that amount. They, (Sirius XM) understanding that I had that agreement, stated they don't have that plan anymore. They wanted to do a new contract. I did not agree on it. They should honor the verbal contract that is already in place. We were, and are at a stale mate.I have received invoices, bills, calls and corresponded back to them. Where I was paid up to date on my original due date with the six month agreement in October, they have now sent me a bill stating they have renewed my account and I need to pay $58.22 to avoid disruption of service. I refused to renew my account for something new because I was satisfied with the verbal contract that was mutually agreed upon years ago.I recently got off of the phone with Mary, employee#2523 and her supervisor Robert, employee#487. They both understand I had that agreement. They claim it was a promotional service and it was for a limited time. The original representative did not say it was for a limited time. Neither did they charge me as so. Now they are trying to have me agree on another new verbal contract via the telephone for $40.00 that only lasts until February of 2013 while I have their claimed disruption of service letter they wrote up, handing over my head. The sad part is Sirius XM is the only company doing this type of service. I bought a car receiver just because of its XM capability. The receiver is over 10 years old... that's how long I've been with them. It is now a part of my classic car, a 1989 Honda Prelude. The other car has a stand alone system. I have wired it into my car to the point of removal will cause damages.* ...less
