Claimant says: Complaint #98537618 - DirecTV Inc. In reference to above complaint # you asked me to let you know directly my response to said Co's reply. I am not satisfied with their conclusion. When I first called the co. to cancel service Rep Daris wanted to give me three months free service. I told him then that I still wanted it cancelled at the end of that time. I called on the morning of Jul 5th to make sure it was cancelled. It was not. When I talked with a supervisor he told me that I was charged for 2 days. The end of the time period was Jul 4. Giving them the benifit of the doubt why was I charged not only for the 5th but also for the 6th? If $21.97 was for 2 days that is outrages especially for 1 day when I was paying $55.99 for a full month. I did not get the service that I requested & was told by their rep when I first hooked up with them that I would have it. I would like to know when they plan to remove their equip from my house. They told me they were sending me a lable & box to return the receiver about three weeks ago. I am still waiting. I guess they will charge me for having it too long.* ...less
