Claimant says:
"I purchased a 2012 Can-Am Motorcycle from Kenneth Martin and he advised that Elite Cargo Carriers held the bike at their shipping facility that I had to go online and sign up and start the transaction. I did that and was given a bank address to transfer the funds to in order for Elite Cargo Carriers to hold the funds until I got the bike and was given 10 days to inspect and make sure all was as described. Elite Cargo Carriers was to inspect the shipment for correct paperwork and make sure bike was not stolen or money owned on bike and that the title and necessary paperwork was attached. I transferred the funds $7850 plus $100 dollars for the transfer and 2 days off work trying to get them to respond without luck. The transfer took place on 9/18/2013. I still have not gotten my shipment. I still have not gotten my money back. The transaction # 53078114 the seller is Kenneth Martin from Missouri. I insisted on coming and picking up the bike but Elite Cargo Carrier stated they had to do their inspection and had to ship the bike because they were already holding the bike for shipment. The seller stated he was only home 6 months out of the year because he was working on an oil rig and couldn't get the bike ready when it was sold. That's why Elite had the bike already crated. I WANT MY SHIPMENT OR MY BIKE NOW!!!!!!! I have receipts where money was transferred and date when it was sent. Thanks Charlotte"

  • I agree he was ripped off. I believe this is part of a bigger internet scam as I was scammed by the same so called company and a person going b Daniel Shutes. This is probably same person or people pulling the same scam under different names!

  • I have had 8 emails back and forth with a person advertising on UTVSwap.com for a 2007 Kawasaki Mule. His email was kevinsanders1@hotmail.com. After requesting the VIN # and a phone number contact numerous times, and did not get them, I suspected something not good. After hours of researching this Elitecargocarrierinc.com, there are two suspicious things, both the money transfer to the company and the company domain name had addresses in the UK. The web site also does not have a FAX number which all large companies have. So thankfully for me this is the end to what could have been another scam. Now how do we stop this fraud????

  • I wired money to Elite Cargo Carriers, Inc on 10/22/2013. I had purchased a 2010 Polaris RZR 4 800 for $5500.00. When I requested the status on 10/25/2013, they emailed me and said the vehicle would be delivered Friday morning on 11/01/2013. It never arrived. I have sent several emails to them since and to the seller also, and have had no response.
