Claimant says:
"I inadvertantly subscribed to your service on August 1, 2014. I thought I had cancelled and was waiting for my refund of $39.80. On September 2 I was charged $39.80 again. I called and was informed that I did not cancel. I tried to cancel and could not. I am looking for a refund of $79.60!"

The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:
  • "We have reviewed the complaint and reject it. eHarmony operated at all times in accord with its Terms and Conditions as well as all applicable law. The request for a refund was made outside of the stated refund period. The subscription was never canceled by Mr. Armen and remains open to this day for his use. Nonetheless, as a onetime courtesy, eHarmony will cancel Mr. Armen’s subscription and stop the third scheduled payment."
