Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I am costumer of Starbucks for over a decade, and always ordering the same coffee caramel frappoucino . For the last at least a year I been noticed that my coffee is been deluted by not having the same amount of coffee in it so instead of getting a caramel frappoucino I'm getting almost a milkshake, after hearing from other friends and relatives the same issue I confronted the employee of this company here in Skokie and I was told that the company made this changes couple years ago and why we weren't told about this and before, why am I paying the same amount of money for less quality or not at all the same coffee, why they Didnt just increase the price of the coffee but they chose to deceive the costumers, I have list of people with the same issue that like to have a resolution for this"

"Based on the nature of your complaint, it really comes down to whether or not the specific Starbucks involved in your complaint is a franchise. Because if it's not, the owner can make the decision to do the things you discussed in your complaint (use less coffee, charge you for adding more coffee, etc) and a non franchise owner wouldn't be required to tell their customers about any subtle changes made within their business, such as using a less amount of coffee that you're used to getting in a beverage. Have you tried talking to the manager or the owner directly about your concerns? That would be your best bet for any kind of resolution to your complaint, assuming the Starbucks location in question is non franchise. If it is a franchise and even if it isn't, click on the following link and send your complaint about your in store experience directly to Starbucks Customer Service: https://www. customerservice.starbucks.com/app/contact/ask_retail_stores/

Other than that, unfortunately there's nothing illegal about the actions described in your complaint."
